Summer Staff Positions
Counselors: leading weekly cabin groups in activities, Bible studies, Adventure Course, and all other activities; assisting in leading campfires and worship times, participating in all camp activities, working on site, and leading day camps.
Service Corps: setting up dish room before meals, washing dishes and cleaning dining room, cleaning bathrooms, assisting in camp store, spending approximately three weeks leading day camps off site, special duties as assigned.
Program Assistants: liaison between program and support staff, setting up and leading camper activities, assisting in worship services, enabling counselors to fulfill their responsibilities.
Day Camp Assistant: Overseeing Day Camp program, maintaining daily contact with Day Camp Teams, offering encouragement and problem solving, Supervising, scheduling, and assisting in all duties of Service Corps.
Gift Shop Manager: place all candy/pop orders; set, change, and restock displays; keep store clean and neat; serve meals as available; manage camper/staff charge accounts.
Camp Assistant: a combination of caring for plants and flowers, assisting with housekeeping responsibilities, serving meals, and offering program support.
Assistant Cooks: assisting with food preparation, supervising food preparation for snack times, assisting Food Service Director in any kitchen duties.
First Aid Supervisor: screening incoming campers, distributing medications, keeping detailed health records, attending to medical needs of campers and staff. RN desirable. Lifeguarding certification desirable. Red Cross 1st Aid Certified.
Site Assistant: supervising staff in work projects, building campfires, working with Site Director in fulfilling all site and facility needs such as mowing, painting, digging, raking, hauling, sweeping, picking up, cleaning, etc.
Waterfront Supervisor: supervise lifeguards and all waterfront activities, lead waterfront orientation for campers each week, test campers’ swimming ability, maintain a safe and neat setting for all waterfront activities, assist with housekeeping duties and maintenance occasionally, refilling pop machines.
Photographer &/or Videographer: take staff and camp photos and/or video, along with a full range of all other camp activities; update monitors with daily photos, provide content for website and daily facebook updates; assist with additional program needs
