Ladies, this is YOUR weekend! Leave the laundry behind, close the cupboard doors, and prepare to be refreshed. This retreat is designed to care for you the way you so lovingly care for others, so come expecting great things! (How does a massage followed by a candlelight dinner sound?)
Things to do... Play volleyball, shop, walk the trails, play table games, paddleboat, nap, relax, hang out, fellowship, make crafts, and get a much needed massage!
Things NOT to do... Cook, clean, wash clothes, pick up after everyone, answer phones, chase kids, and anything else that causes you stress!

Speakers for the weekend were Jan Schubert and Edie Opdahl. Jan is the Minnesota State Coordinator for Moms In Touch International (MITI). Jan and her husband, Tom, are parents of Two children, ages 17 and 20. Edie is a MITI Minneapolis Area Coordinator. She and her Husband, Steve, have five children ages 9-18. Jan and Edie met through MITI in 1998 and have been praying together ever since. Jan and Edie speak with transparency, humor, and contagious enthusiasm about getting to know the God who hears our prayers and answers beyond our wildest dreams.
